Head - Supply Chain and Procurement

 

Varun is Procurement & Supply Chain strategist with over 27 years of enriched experience in managing Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management & Development, Materials & Inventory Management, and Logistics & Commercial Operations for large Global and Indian manufacturing organizations. Varun has worked with Honda Cars India, SABMiller India, Honda Logistics India and United Breweries Limited prior to joining the ABD in July 2012.

Varun is heading Supply Chain & Procurement and responsible for developing Safe & Sustainable Supply Chain & Procurement processes and delivering tangible value to ABD by innovatively optimizing procurement costs, mitigating risks, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring timely supply of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Varun completed his PGPMX(MBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He has also done his Chief Operating Officer Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
